Destructive Arts (Hadou)

Destructive Art 4: White Lightning 白雷
A powerful attack that fires a bolt of lightning from the users extended forefinger which results into a huge blast

Destructive Art 31: Shakkahou 赤火砲 (Red Flame Cannon)
This creates a red ball of spiritual energy that shoots from the users hand, similar to Destructive Art 4 it results into a blast. This is one of the first destructive art techniques that all Shinigami goes through during their training.

Destructive Art 33: Soukatsui 蒼火墜 (Blue Fire, Crash Down)
This is a very advanced Destructive art technique similar to Destructive Art 31. This technique is more destructive then Destructive Art 31, the end results into a huge blast.

Destructive Art 54: Waste Flame 廃炎
This is a technique that results in a fire that totally incinerates a target usually human with very little reiatsu

Destructive Art 63: Raikouhou 雷吼炮 (Lighting Tiger Canon)
This attack summons a huge energy wave similar to a lightening that is gathered in the hand first and it is then shot off in a blast that to annihilate the target

Destructive Art 90: Kurohitsugi 黒棺 (Black coffin)
A very powerful and difficult to use technique that surrounds the target in a huge black box of spiritual energy, which is then pierced by dozens of energy “spears”, resulting in extensive damage on all parts of the target. This technique is considered to be an “Eternal Destruction” because it’s a 90-level attack. This technique is being seen only used by Captain Aizen.

Demon Arts 鬼道 (Kidou)
The demon arts (Kidou) are a type of combat or healing sorcery used by Shinigami. Demon art spells are divided into two major groups: blast spells (Hado), used for direct attack, and binding spells (Bakudo), which are spells that restrain or involves restraining someone. To perform a demon arts spell, one must call out the incantation for the spell, just think of it like the release of a Zanpakuto. It is also possible to bypass the incantation for spells, as with the Shikai release of the Zanpakto, however, each level gets successively harder to cast with success or full effectiveness.

Binding Spells 縛道 (Bakudou)

Binding Spell 1: First Restraint Obstruction å¡ž
Binding technique that locks an opponent’s arms in place behind their back.

Binding Spell 4: Crawling Rope 這縄
This is an energy rope that entangles a target’s arms similar to Binding Spell 1

Binding Spell 9: Kakushitsuijyaku æ’ƒ (Invocation of the tracking birds)
This is an energy that engulfs the target in red light and completely paralyzing them

Binding Spell 58: Kakushitsuijyaku 摑趾追雀 (Invocation of the tracking birds)
This technique allows the user to contact with any spiritual force. To use such technique, one must draw a circle on the ground and cut into four parts with a specific character in each

Binding Spell 61: Rukujyoukourou 六杖光牢 (Luminous Prison of 6 Bars)
This is a stronger binding sell then Binding Spell 1. It summons six beams of light that slams into a target’s midsection which traps them to that spot.

Binding Spell 75: Gochuu Tekan 五柱鉄貫
This is yet another strong technique that creates a cage formed of five incredibly high and thick pillars that is used to bind the opponents to the ground.

Binding Spell 77: Tenteikuura 天挺空羅 (Heavenly Rickshaws of Silken Air)
This technique transmits messages to anyone within Soul Society. To use this spell, the user must draw specific markings on their arms which are animated by the spell to deliver the messages.

Binding Spell 99: Kin 禁 & Bankin 卍禁
Kin straps the opponent in strong fabric with iron shafts. Bankin, similar to kin binds the target with a spiritual fabric, blades pierces them, and than a huge metal cube appears from the sky which then drops to crush the opponent.

Misc

Shunpo 歩法 (Flash Steps)
Shunpo is a movement technique that allows the user to move faster than the eye can follow. Although rarely used in Soul Society, this technique is used most prevalent in the human world.

Kyoumon (Barrier)
This is a glass like barrier that is difficult to break from the outside, but quite simple to break from the inside.

Senkei 殲景 (Annihilate)
This is a flash step only used by Byakuya which combines Shunpo with a spin to strike the enemy from behind

Soul Burial 魂葬
This is a cleansing of the spirits by sending them to Soul Society. It is performed by a Shinigami by tapping the spirit in the head to which the “Chain of Fate” is then broken.
