I'm launching this poll to get your feedbacks about what contest(s) you want to see here.

Here is a definition (from Wikipedia) for each item. For a detailed information, Google Wikipedia "keyword" os ask here.

Wallpapers
The terms wallpaper and desktop picture refer to an image used as a background on a computer screen, usually for the desktop of a graphical user interface. 'Wallpaper' is the term used in Microsoft Windows, while the Mac OS calls it a 'desktop picture' (prior to Mac OS X, the term desktop pattern was used to refer to a small pattern that was repeated to fill the screen).

Signatures
A signature block (often abbreviated as signature, sig block, sig file, .sig, dot sig, siggy, or just sig) is a block of text or rendered image (animated or not) automatically appended at the bottom of an e-mail message, Usenet article, or forum post.

Fanfics
Fan fiction (alternately referred to as fanfiction, fanfic, FF or fic) is a broadly defined term for fiction about characters or settings written by admirers of the original work, rather than by the original creators.

Next episode spoilers

Random draw among Forum members.

Desktop Themes
In computing, a theme is a preset package containing graphical appearance details, used to customise the look and feel of (typically) an operating system, widget set or window manager. Graphics themes for individual applications are often referred to as skins, and the words are often used equivalently, the primary difference being one of scope.

AMVs
An anime music video (abbreviated AMV) is a music video consisting of clips from one or more anime series or movies set to songs; the term usually refers to fan-made unofficial videos.

Animated GIFs
Creating a sequence of multiple GIF images in order to create an illusion of movement.

maybe u could put a definition of each of those for the ppl who dont know what they r...like someone could be really talented at photoshop and such...but not know what a sig is...idk y but stuff like that...

i havent voted yet since idk what all of em r either

if he doesn't know what a wallpaper is, then there is a big chance that he or she has no idea how to create a wallpaper, therefor it would be useless to add a definition for each item

otherwise if you have any question, feel free to ask here. Or what we can do is to add links for tutorials for those who are interested to participate but need some help to learn how to create wallpapers, signatures or whatever the contest is about.

I will edit my first post with a definition for each one of them.

I would love to see people competioning with signature contests. Since we got good talent it would be a real great challenge.

Maybe each month, we switch to a new contest

Month 1 - Sig competition
Month 2 - desktop theme
Month 3 - drawing contest
etc...

Just a suggestion, this can get everybody to at least try in each category.

Hmm, then I wouldn't suggest AMV since I haven't seen many of us making those

yea thats a lot more time consuming and ppl that make em usually take a long time to make em...

also many ppl dont have access to a lot of the anime eps at one time so they would have a lot of clips from the same eps...since most ppl dont keep all the eps on their computers...

Also we'll have event contests, for easter, valentines, christmas etc. Halloween would be called Holloween in Bleach...
