i dont think kisuke's zanpaktou is always released. because in the manga **spoiler warning, for u non manga readers** kisuke walks around with a cloak he made that can completely conceal is reastiu. besides, he can make his sword look like a normal cane, so i imagine he can keep his zanpaktou under wraps

I forgot about that but could the cane be it's unreleased form or is just some fancy thing he did to it to conceal it? I guess no one can really know though.

I was reading the flashback chapters to become enlightened about his sword but to no avail. You only see it when he attacks, not even a cane or a sheath in the flash back. It's like he whips it out from thin air.

edit: his shikai is the normal blade only diff is he cnt use power attacks with out sayin sing benihime[i think...thats all i saw]

i have seen Kisuke's bankai because like on the bleach ds game 3rd phantom it show the new 5th captain and Kisuke's bankai! It's so sik

Urusai, I play Bleach DS 2 and so far the people that hasn't shown their bankais in the anime/manga doesn't have any bankais. Yama didn't have any. So they wouldn't just make up things. Either show one in advance or not at all.

Bleachpics do you play 3rd phantom? My japanese is very limited so it discourages me, because it has a story. I'll try getting it though.

EDIT!!!

I've beaten Bleach 3rd phantom (main storyline) and nowhere did I see anyone that we don't know their powers yet used bankai, this includes Urahara. Unless they're in the extra storyline after the main one.

I know that sado kun or chad doesn't have a bankai but it would be sweet if you combined sado kun's power with Ichigo's.  That would make Ichigo so much more powerful!

Urahara's zanpakuto isn't always released, and that cane acts like a sheath, nothing more.

In the first several episodes when Ichigo was training with Urahara, he himself said that Benihime was his Shikai, when he released it into that ornate blade.

What kind of bankai is only a sword change? If anyone is going to say Ichigo's was, then you're wrong there. Ichigo was given a fancy cape, and his Zangetsu was compressed, into a smaller, more concentrated form, making it easier to wield.

I don't see anyone fusing Hitsugaya's bankai with anyone's, do I?
