Thank you Rainingpain! It's not charcoal though. I use pencils too.. but I'm using those new soft graphite pencils that they call washes. You can actually add water and create a wash with them. I also use "ebony" pencils which are very soft very dark graphite and solid no wood graphite sticks.

I've also found these awesome "chalk" pencils that you might like if you like working with graphite. They are great for color.

And everytime I see your name I think of Slayer... ir that intentional?

Well I'm a big fan of slayer,  my original name was going to be "raining blood" one of there best songs, but i wanted something unique so i changed it to "rainingpain", plus i think it puts an emotional impact when people see it

other than that you have to tell me where you got your tools from, im thinking about sketching know

The one on the left. Everything else was done in cs. I'd never even heard of these before saw it and gave it a go. I think I'll get better with them. I like the b&w watercolor look.

Here the full picture the lightening and background was done totally in cs. I'm SO lazy about backgrounds! LOL:

OK... you guys can't treat me all wierd or anything... but I've known I was gonna be an artist since I was 3 years old. I've been doing art for a living for quite a few years. My great grandmother and moter are/were artists too... so I've been really luck to get the encouragement and support to do this myself. I try to pay it forward by helping others who maybe don't get the same.

So your mother aswell?... must run in your family... at about 3, my dad said my drawings were good for my age... he says my hands are extremely good.

Anyways, think you can make a sketch of L? he's just awesome
