there is no specifics for a good sig...but usually they r longer and not as tall...

try choosing a good size that u like and fits u...or u can change sizes

Agree... but I'll post my preference just for fun.

Height/Run/Length: from 180Hx350L to 288Hx450L
I think no matter what max hight should never be over 400 and that is if you intend to ONLY have a single graphic in your sig. It should never be over 500L. At those sizes they not only start loading slower but force one to have to scroll forever if the topics are long and the person with the "banner" sig posts a lot. Which is the last reason. It boarders on banner sizes not sigs. It just looks bad... and self important. Wink

Resolution: Using CS3 I know that if you "save for web devices" it will optimize at 72 dpi in png or jpg format. I think the format now is more important than resolution anymore. A 72 dpi png looks really good opposed to a jpg at the same resolution and compression. I suggest png format. I start all mine at 300dpi though and always save a copy at that dpi.

All just suggestions though. I'm sure others will post their specs for you. It's really just trial and error to see what works best for you and the programs you use.
