Lol got'cha here didnt I? Ok, so this thread is about Rising Force: Online http://www.rf-onlinegame.com/ (RFOnline or RFO also called)

I'm a big RPG/ MMORPG geek. I started playing my first RPG on paper with D&D, then progressed to AD&D, MUD games, then to RPG chat on AOL v2.0 (the original, which I bet none of you ever used ) up through Ultima Online, Asherons Call, EverQuest (and all the expansions), Dark Ages of Camelot, EverQuest2, World of Warcraft (get the idea, pretty much ALL RPG's that were decent I've played, even little RPG's like Diablo and such)

So just recently I cancelled my WoW account for the last time, I'm fed up with paying for a crappy game...so, being bored one night I go to my favorite RPG website http://www.mmorpg.com/gamelist.cfm/gameId/0 which tells you all of the MMORPG's out there, the ones due to come out soon (along with release dates) and if you have to pay for the game (via buy at store, and pay to play...buy at store and free to play, or free to download, pay to play or my fav, free to download free to play) and came across RFOnline (http://www.mmorpg.com/gamelist.cfm/setView/overview/gameID/210) Now to be honest I wasn't very impressed by the story line, it's been played out before...but the graphics on a 100% free game I was all OMG 

I've been playing the game for 3 days now and have managed to do quite a bit. The game is not that difficult, does not require too much system usage, and is actually quite fun. If any of you play, I'm Mitzaka and Tovya on the Solus server, please feel free to look me up and if you're new, I'll help ya out ^_^ mata ne!

Hmm, well I wasn't able to find any system requirements, but basically to run smoothly and have no issues -

1gb RAM
<20gb hard drive space
GeForce FX 5200 Vid Card or better
High Speed Internet

That's basically it....the download is 1.5 gigs and took me about 55 minutes (I was messing around with another game hehe) I have 35 gigs of hard drive space still free (for some reason, i havent uninstalled World of Warcraft yet) and that vid card I listed is mine....I run on normal specs in-game and it's fine for me. If your comp can run WoW or EQ, you can run this game ^^

Oh yeah, they also have an in-game mail system, so when you create your Cora character on Solus, just shoot either Mitzaka or Tovya a mail and I'll reply

No...RFOnline USED to be a "Buy in retail store and pay to play" game but they recently changed it. Now the only thing you will EVER have to use real money for is to buy in-game credits which you use to purchase end-game armor....I was told though that the items you can get end-game by adventuring are only a small notch below what you can purchase, so I'll never use real money on it...it is 100% free (buying credits is purely optional)

Yeah, graphics cards can be a serious pain too...2nd most expensive item in any computer, after the processor.
