Is anyone getting this game? I'm a huge fan of the RA series, but I don't know if it's gonna run in my laptop. Now they made the game more futuristic and like C&C3, with graphically like Tiberian Wars. This game's coming out sometime in October, hence Red October. If this game runs on my comp then I'll definitely buy this game.

I got the beta for multiplayer and I have to say it is fantastic. The graphics aren't that good as it's still in the development stage but the gameplay itself is brilliant it has aspects from most C&C games. The standard layout is that of Tiberium Wars, they have what are essentially general abilities like those from C&C generals. The basic units are those from Red alert 2 though so far I have only been playing as allied. All in all It is a brilliant game and I can't wait to get it.

yeah I downloaded RA1 the day it came out lol.

hm it's nice to see someone that has played the beta. Thanks for posting! It's kinda weird that they recycled old sounds, like the GI. I may be wrong, but on the early trailers they used old sounds.

Some of the sounds are recycled but they will always use recycled sounds I mean look at Tiberium Wars they recycled the sounds of Nod and GDI units dying and where would we be without the basic unit screaming as he gets run over  Cheesy They do use new sounds though and they have a new idea where some buildings can be built on water and quite a few units are amphibious (at least Allied units are) and we get the usual superweapons like the chronosphere so it's a blend of old and new and which results in a good game.

ah cool thats nice we have chronosphere  Grin I liked dumping enemy units into water lol

Just a question. Does it demand a lot of graphics? My computer doesn't really have a good card but I've played Age of Empires III on it well. The water textures scare me that I might not be able to play it, unless you can make the water quality very low or something.
