I think he thought it would have been pointless. Everyone would have figured it out if they didn't broadcast it. Plus, he still had to get the thing out of Rukia before the Menos used there Negacion which was probably planned since he's good with all that stuff.

I guess those we can see after the fillers are over and the story moves on. But i think Ichimaru vs Ichigo will be epic and more exciting than Aizen vs Ichigo.
