well i think that it would be a big unexpected twist for the show/manga that would really get the ppl to watch more intently or it might make some really awesome twist into the story...it all depends on the visions of the writers on this one...they could go either way...
and they could have her do something in SS...like make her not go back to the human world by killing her serving some purpose...idk...

We could always bet that Ichigo's real world body will die and he becomes a full time Shinigami...
Anyways that's same thign with Orihime... i cant really imagine her as a Shinigami

she wouldnt become a shinigami prolly...she isnt much of a fighter and she would have to learn a lot of things in SS to be able to become part of the healing shinigami...since i'm pretty sure her healing powers wouldnt work after she dies...

YES IM REALLY LATE BUT, i agree with u urban maybe not death but tshe is jus way to powerful..to bring back the dead is pretty bug..but its kinda sumthing i think about now Hatchy[however its spelt] has the same powers as her[orihime] so i wonder wut will happen...if orihime dies will hatchy die aswell??? or will this me like sum other shit....maybe orihimes true role is to erase the vizards transformation frum happening??? then with that her powers will leave aswell???i wonder...Urban i look foward to ure response.

I wonder how powerful Inoue's rejection really is... Strong enough to reverse the transformation of the hougyoku? Enough to turn an arrancar back into a hollow? Maybe even strong enough to reverse the effects of Aizens "complete Hypnotism"...
