I think Kon is to close to the same color as the background.. it kinda blends to much and because the colors chosen are so neutral it gives it a kinda flat washed out look.
I think you could get the same feel with more depth if you kept Kon colorized and bright and washed out the bg but used some nice grunge brushes for effect.
Nice design and composition. Maybe a more aggressive font to match the pic.. like Epoxy History.

Welcome. I don't know you to well... but I try to be honest when someone asks for an actual critique. I always feel a bit bad though... I hate saying negative things.. and won't unless there is potential there. You seem to have a good bg in art so I figure you deserved honesty.
I bite at photography... do you snap b&w's? I love black and white pics.
