I don't think I can avoid the practice. It's amazing how much harder this is than I thought. I have a whole new appriciation for those who get our scanlations out so fast. The well done ones anyway. Here how they start out:  And here is how they have to end up:  That is just one frame. The whole page took me almost 2 hours. I'll get faster I know... but it's crazy what it takes to clean these up.  I'm learning a lot though. |

Admittedly I think thats one of the harder pages they test with. It took me 4 hours 4 and half to get it to there. I hope to get faster as I learn just how to do specific things. And I did redraw the zoomlines.. which they told me after was not nessasery. But I hated the greyed out look of them and I think it was worth the extra 5 or 10 minutes a frame. But to get them out on time I won't be able to redo all of them. Just the really bad ones. And thanks Rainingpain! Being a fan myself, I want to do my best for other fns. I want to make them color worthy! |

haha no way dude, first the peeps in japan scan them and post em up on the net as "raw" means its still in japanese and low quality (you can see all these dots ex: http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc184/Spirit0nParole/Random/NoClean.png) People on the net makes the raw version into whatever language they want to replace the japanese text. And then the Photoshop users turn it from low quality to a better quality (medium/high, depends on how its done) |
