so yea...i was watching the kingdom hearts chronicles and it reminded me that there was supposed to be another one of these... i looked it up and it seems that there will be KHIII for the PS3...there were some rumors that they were gonna make it for the wii too...i would think that that was a lie since all the previous ones were on PS2 and wii is nintendo not sony... but then i thot that the chain of memories game was on the GBA so nintendo must be able to get their hands on copyrites with KH so what do u guys think? it would be major pwnage if u could have KHIII on the wii as well as the PS3 cuz PS has the original game-play type too keep ppl happy and the wii has the keyblade swinging action and bring KH to a new level! i keep seeing that the wii version is just a lie but if u have any info u just post it up  i would love to read it!  |

Well you'll actually never know what's going to happen. PS3 games cost A LOT to develop. This what made Monster Hunter 3 abandon ps3 to go to Wii. http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3154029While FF will be on ps3, I think they're looking to move KH to another console. Might be the wii.Especially if you consider the audience the wii has. Do you think theres more 7-16 yr old Wii or PS3 owners? |

well to tell the truth i dont think i know anyone who owns a PS3 Exactly, not a lot of people are buying ps3 these days. Compare it to Wii, where I never see in store shelves. Plus, few games are good on PS3, and they're all M games, not suited for KH audience. I would think that Blu-ray's win in format wars would boost sales a bit. |

well i guess so...but i mean all the actual KH games(kingdom hearts 1/2) were on the PS2...the "other" KH game was the one on a nintendo system..they might stay loyal to sony but they also might give up on them since they r really not doing too good...

One thing is on Square's mind "Which console would make KH3 sell the most?" That's their goal, their decision. If they see Wii to be good, they shall make it there. Or they might make it multi-platform...

well yea
PS3 would be best for the old style that would make it very similar to KH1/2
but the wii could make it all new and cooler for some ppl...
if they make a game for both then they could have something for the ppl that loved the old way and the ppl that want to haev a sword swinging kind of game with the wii and the ppl who wanna have both versions and happen to have both the wii and the PS3!

What is the old way? You do know that PS3 has motion too right? I think the Wii is better suited for this game, and the motions would be awesome.
Also, square is starting to rly support Wii. Did you know of the square wiiware game that came out on the 25th?

the new way would prolly be more sword swinging and easier access spells

It better not be just waggling the wiimote, or it would really be bad... I hope different motions turn into different and unique in-game actions. That way it will be an awesome game, wouldn't it? |

yea but i mean...swinging the sword=fun for smaller kids(who generally play KH)
and plus they could make diff moves besides just the "attack" move that isnt considered magic or ability...like a bunch of attacks...
like swinging diff. not just relying on the X button to give u waht u want to do...if that made sense...

well i mean having combos that dont include what sora does when u hit X a certain # of times would be good too...most of the buttons dont do much... but i was so obsessed with KH that i decided to complete jimminey's journal and i did...i was soo happy |

Are there actually any hints/previews/etc that there will be a third game? Because there's been spin-offs lately, like the one for the DS I believe.

well they said they ARE going to make KH games for the PSP, DS and cell phones.
these r just like little not major games like the numbered ones...but they said that the story may tie together in 3.
but i havent seen anything on the actual game besides that ppl think the wii version is a lie and that the PS3 version is totally gonna happen
