if dragonball z kept making more episodes, it would have been completely overdone. the creator didn't even want to make dragonball gt, thats why he jumped off a quarter of the way into the series. i think it ended where it should have, but i think its still comparable to bleach.

Apples and oranges comparison.
Dragonball and DBZ were early Animes that brought the genre into the mainstream. Now Anime is a well known pop term. Though people sometimes confuse it with Hentai.

ZATCH bell is kind of childish since that is the dub name...they edit out all the blood and the script was changed to make it more aimed at little kids but GASH bell is the original japanese version that seems like it was aimed more at teens...and teach them the values of good friendship and stuff...and it kicked ass |

I feel like Gantz was overlooked, its a good short Anime (if you watch them all right after each other because of the multi episode battles) and an even better Manga that is still going.
also Elfen Lied is an intresting Anime due to its combonation of really cute girls and very gruesome fight scences
Ps Beware of lots of blood and nudity but otherwise they are both pretty good

elfin lied manga i think is much better if u want more of the story but the anime is better for action and for a good short thing with a good ending...
