The blade shall create chaos upon the enemies.

If you have been on Google the past few days, you may have noticed that they have a new browser, the Google Chrome. It's odd why theyd do this after spending so much time helping Mozilla with FF, and now they're competing against them lol.

this browser really fast, and I got used to it pretty quick. Actually, it seems like my bookmarks/favorites from FF are also used in GC. Heh, now there's 5 browsers competing: IE, FF, Safari, Opera, and now Chrome. However, on some flash intensive sites/blogs it was a bit long to load at first. Also, some touchpad issues are present, as in the case with mine. Overall, this is interesting. I like the layout, speed, and everything, unlike Safari.

well forums aren't as space demanding unlike sites with lots of videos, flash, etc in it. I do expect that as newere versions come out, they'll improve and surpass ff and the others.

I think Google copied ff's technology and made it better. Heh, a smart move by Google to be helping Mozilla the past several years.

I'd say firefox and chrome would have a lot in common, just coz Google uses both. I'm using ff til Chrome gets better flash handling and scrolling (lol). Plus I read that chrome uses separate tasks for each tab you have, unlike ff where it's all in 1 task and less resource consumption.

aha you're an Opera user. I used Opera and I like it, but it's lack of support for things like the new ver of Flash and etc made me want to get ff instead. I like the speed dial, and blazing speeds though, and I think  Chrome copied the speed dial.

like i said b4, all the things that they have in common would be all the things that google came up with for FF, so those are teh parts that they used for chrome. cuz those were google's good ideas

What? I don't understand. Opera was the first one that came out with speed dial, then Google 'copied' it for Chrome. FF had nothing like this.

btw, Google is just supporting Mozilla with resources like $$ and public advertising/recognition. I don't think they're directly involved with software production.

Well I would guess they did b/c google thinks up a lot of good ideas like self refreshing email pages like gmail or a simple homepage for google.com

i just wanted to say that it is a possibility. They were in it together so that is high likely that google took all its ideas and used it on chrome.

Maybe they weren't getting along for some reason so Google decided to duck out  Shocked

Or maybe Google thought that they had the right to make their own...and they do.
