Yeah, I've never watched the film, but I figured that everyone in the army in the alchemy world's counterpart in our world, would be a nazi. And Pride would be Hitler. I guess that makes Ed one of the German scientists.

When does it say Pride is jewish? and by the way if you go far enough back into hitler's past he was born a jew, His father was jewish and when he left him and his mother, that's when Hitler started to hate jews.

Wait Pride is a humonculai, so he would have had to have a real human that looks like him, so the counterpart in the real world would be the counterpart of the person they were trying to ressurect whrn they created Pride.

More or less.
As far as I remember for the anime Dante killed the Human who was pride so she could have someone to run the military for her and she calls him a 'sucess' becuase he ages like a normal human.
Pride in the manga is totally different
