Welll for a start Sloth isn't their mother.
Pride from the anime is wrath.
And there is a 'father' who looks just like Ed+Al's dad but it's not him.
And as for pirde well that's a big spolier so I won't say a word about that

He lost his leg trying to transmute hs mother. Al lost his body. In order for Ed get Al's body back he drew Transutation circles on his arms chest remaning leg and forehead. He got his arm taken in Exchange for Al's soul which he affixed to a suit of armour

Cooli I hate the english dub of FMA no offence to Vic or anything he just does my tits in I mean the man is in his 40s playing an 11 year old then a 16 year old (And if we're counting the movie an 18 year old) its a bit like pedophelia if you ask me...
