This is the laptop I'm picking up for gaming/work

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8533991&type=product&id=1186008219932

The only differences are that I'm having the extended RAM upgraded to 4Gb and for the video card, I'm having Dual NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT in place of the 8700M GT (figured 2 are better than 1? ^_^)

Ugh, thats just like the POS laptop I gave to a co-worker's kids for x-mas (they needed something for word documents and browsing net for school, which is about all that POS was good for anymore). 6400 isnt much better mainly because the entire Inspiron line SUCKS! (I really dont like Dell anymore) but it is an upgrade ^^

I feel your pain on dyslexia

OMG, Your like one of the most hardcore, richest gamer I ever seen. How can you have 3 geforce 8800 Ultras? That will definitely lag your computer badly and overheat your whole PC. As a matter of fact, there are no motherboards out there that supports 3 slots of PCI Express 16x. No offense, but r u sure u really have those specs? And what kind of job do u have which made u get all those parts?
I got

Processor: Core 2 Quad
MotherBoard: NVIDIA nForce® 780i SLI
Graphics: 3 GeForce 8800 Ultras (768 mb)
Ram: 4Gig (2 2gig)
HDD: 1 TB
Moniter: Gateway 30 XHD 3000 LCD

*Took 2 years to build this computer waiting for all the parts to get released.  I like to download stuff if you cant tell and got the top three thing for my maya can run supurb.*

I wasnt lying, I spent alot of money and got the frys custom case built for it.  I wont lie my dad helped with the cost of things alot so me personally am not rich.

ATI is gotten some good video cards since they have combined with Radeon.  nVidia is not bad either, the one that you have is stock video card which is the lowest of ends for gaming.

Usually gaming requires very good graphics card so you won't experience lag.  A good one will cost ya some money.
