same with my school...some of my friends r taking japanese at school...jsut our schools must think it wouldnt be too popular...
truth is that japanese would prolly be more popular since there is more dialects of chinese so ppl would be dissapointed when they cant speak mandarin to a cantonese speaker.
japanese doesnt have that problem and i would totally take it
You're school teaches japanese? Chinese does have many dialects and it can be a pain. Japanese it's easier, imo until you attempt to learn kanji. |

Oh I see. Same here, I think they made a bad choice. Japanese ftw! I dont think Chinese will do well in my school since its mostly white people and us asians are lot less in numbers.. |

and i bet that most of them arent appropriate for school  No, its not bad words, just the ones the say alot in Bleach, thanks to the subs, lol. I know damn or shit, it translates into one of those, and that's the worst one I know. (bad word wise) |

well actually if u look at the bleach subs...damn and shit r sometimes used interchangeably...if thats what u meant... but from bleach u can get more bad words than that  but lets see if i can guess some words u might know from bleach... - ohio-good morning

That's awesome. Man... I wish my school taught some Japanese but they only offer French and Spanish which I like too. Anyways, are you guys in college and how old are you guys? I heard Japanese is probably by far the most hardest Eastern Asian language to learn becuase it has a lot of complex conjugates, there's literally a lot. lol

i'm sophomore in high school right now. and i bet more ppl would want to take it than for other things since japanese stuff is one of the most popular languages for subbed things watched in america
