i dont know about that because if it all went wrong who would stop him? i mean he might not have had an assistant (only watch the anime not sure about whats goin on in the manga) but these were illegal expreiments that he was condudcting

who needs money to read the manga www.onemanga.com although I do buy the manga, it is nice to have something to hold plus some of the omake chapter are wicked funny like the one where Keigo and Mizuiro meet Ichigo and Chad |

So far..
urahara, Former Captain/ Scientist. Now, runs Earth based store for Shinigamis.
Isshin, possible former Captain. Ichigos father. Bitch slapped grand Fisher.
Vizards. I wont give it away to Anime people...
Ichigo. Sub Shinigami. Weakest Vizard. Strong Shinigami, but weaker than the top 4 Captains and Espadas.

He is gaining strength in HM, but remember he gains new abilities while in energy rich environments. When he returns to Karukara Town he may become weak again.
Al a the SS Invasion story line... Once in the real world he had to relearn his Bankai.
The Top 4 or 5 Captains are way stronger then Ichigo. It would be cool for him to spar with the Old Man. Ukitake and Flower Coat Guy have been Captains for a long long time.
