Is Isshin Kurosaki gonna show his face and power again?

makes u wonder though. what kinda of training does a shinigami do? they dont really show or tell you though. most of what you see or figure out is they 1) get a zanpaktu- where or how we dont know, 2) for a captain u can become one by three different ways. 3) how is rank established? 4) u go to school and learn kido. but other then that u only see like fighting to train each other or to have fun like ikkaku does. for bankai it takes ten years to master it. and to learn the name of your zanpaktou how long does that take? so the question is what kind of taining does isshin have and what can he do?

Bankai indeed takes 10 years to learn, but is meaningless without an extra 10 years to master it. Ichigo's bankai however took 3 days to learn, but it was so easy to use, that it seemed he had trained with it for years, well imagine if he took the 10 years to master it? formidable much?

Shikai is gained nearly instantaneously, it's simply learning the Zanpakutos name

A shinigami is given their Zanpakuto when they graduate, that Zanpakuto eventually becomes part of their soul and soon learning the name is possible

Yes they go to school to learn Kido, Kendo (sword fighting) and other stuff, think of it like our own school, Kido is like Maths or English and Sword fighting is like PE

Rank is established by each person's values and how good they are at it, while each squad has their own traits, like the 11th is good at fighting and the 1st is for the most elite, the 13th for the best researchers, 12th for the newest people, and well... so on...

Isshin's probably the sort just like Ichigo, more on slash'n'hack than anything else, of course he'd have all the basic training, he is rumoured to have been part of Gotei 13

heres a thought. how would his power rank up to the exsisting captains? would his be alittle out of date or would be still be able to rank up to byakua or to kenpachi.

well hat and clogs or ishidas dad siaid something about his powers had returned (don't remember what episode) to which he replyed something like yeah but i dont have all of them back, i jus assumed that he had left SS possibly with hat and clogs and has been living in a gigai since then and his constant exposure to ichigo has reawakend his powers its just an idea but its the only way that i can see that it would work

yea that could be or it could be that he has been trying to get em back, but tried more when he found out that ichigo became a shinigami and could use all the power he could get to help him defeat aizen

Maybe this will be Ichigo's chance to actually be better and be able to beat the espadas. Maybe the fillers we see him again (Isshin) or afterwards.

eh...seeing him in the fillers might mess up the storyline...and i personally dont want him in the fillers cuz then he might not be in the normal story for a while then

since they cant risk doing something contradictory to the manga

He can be just the regular ordinary dad appearing when it is Ichigo's sisters' turn to be in the filler eps.

wouldn't it be cool if isshin got bored and decided to follow ichigo into hecuo mundo and saw aizen and pawnd his ass? sorry got a bit carried away but it would be cool nonetheless because i heard   *SPOILER start*



 byuka and zaraki go in to help  *SPOILER end*  but it would be so much cooler if isshin went as well then we could really see the full extent of his powers as grand fisher wasn't really that much of a problem

secondly that would be awesome but i wanna see some of the captians come and show their power again...since ive been waiting for that for a while...but seeing isshins powers would be cool as well
