could ichigo have won?

At the beggining of ep 162 or so. Ichigo is fighting espada #3 (cant write his name).  Do you think if Nel wasnt there ichigo woud've won the fight?  Becasue it seems like Ichigo had to hold back to keep from Nel getting hurt.

Nope... either you're blinded by the fact that Ichigo's your fave (Ray's prolly gonna kill you, along with a friend of mine), or you werent reading the subs, no...

Why?
1. Ichigo was able to get a clear shot at Ulquiorra, so it didnt matter if he was holding onto to Nel or not
2. That #3 Espada is not 3, it is in fact 4
3. Ichigo's Hollow Mask Getsuga was able to get through Ulquiorra's defenses, but failed to damage him directly, though his clothes didnt fare so well
4. Also... what's wrong with you? i mean, when Ichigo finished up, Ulquiorra was hardly even damaged, hell he wasnt damaged at all, Ichigo was at this time, completely exhausted, did you honestly think that after Ichigo went to max power and doing little to no damage to Ulquiorra, then getting tired when Ulquiorra had experienced nothing but the need for a change of clothes was anywhere close to winning?

ichigo can't win yet  but last time his inner hollow showed the promised to give him his true power if he stayed alive so im guessing that ichigo is gonna get a HUGE increase in power very soon

I'm seeing the exact same pattern...

in timeline... Replace Orihime with Renji and replace Ganju with Rukia...

SS Arc, Ichigo fights a 3rd seat and lower (compare with when Ichigo fights that wind dude)

Ishida fights a scientist (see something?, yea he fights the exact same type, a scientist in Huco Mundo) then ends up half losing...

Ganju fights, though he ends up losing anyways (Rukia, she lost, but she won... still similar)

Chad fought a captain, and got beat (he fought an espada, and got beat)

Ichigo fights someone who likes to fight (Grimmjaw likes to fight too)

Ichigo fights Ulquiorra (the Byakuya of the Espada) and then loses

Ichigo gets back up and goes to fight Ulquiorra again (Byakuya of the Espada, we KNOW Ichigo's gonna win...)

Predictable much?

i dunno in the sealed sword frenzy that guy become 1 with his zanpaktou it is possible that ichigo does that but who knows because earlier on the inside hollow of ichigo said if you want to gain my full power dont die so obviously he hasnt achieved his fullest (ya i know lots of typos )

maybe...but the seal sword frenzy was just a OVA and doesnt really have to have any relavence to the actual anime besides the fact that it's still bleach..

Ichigo is pretty weak he has no attack plan.  He just swings with all his power and thinks he beat anybody.  I think uli should knock somemore sence into him.
