buy a new one, jk :buck2:

more seriously, if you think that the noise is strange and not normal, it could be an indication that they are not working properly. I would start by first cleaning them all in addition to the cpu fan.

If the noise persists, try to find out which one is the most noisy and buy a new one.

If you have a laptop, you may try to connect remotely to your PC using VNC or better a remote terminal such as Citrix. That's myself I'm doing.

you can buy a cheap PC with a large monitor to connect to your noisy PC. You do not need a powerful one cause all the data processing is done on the remote PC.

I'm surprised no one suggested liquid cooling. It's dead silent, and replaces the fans. Not to mention a kit is probably cheaper than a new computer. I don't have a pc, just a laptop, so i don't use it, but there's this huge Electronics department store the size of a superwalmart that deals only whith electronics. They had a couple on display. And considering that it has so many fans in it, you're mainly using it as a gaming computer. If that's so, and you're still using it for home/office work, and the games youplay aren't microsoft certified, make a separate user on your computer for gaming. Games can really mess some of the new microsoft office stuff up 'cause of when they automatically adjust the settings for particular games. I've yet to see this, but I have some reliable sources whom of which said they've had.

computer liquid cooling is a bit complicated to install for average users and in some cases dangerous too, in addition to the needs to regularly refill and seal the correct liquid. i think it's much more bother than benefit.

playing games or movies for long time makes the computer hotter and the fan running longer obviously. Cleaning the fan is a good idea too. debris in the blades could be the cause of that sound. It also could be an indication of fan fatigue. Buying a new fan is the safest and fastest way.

i ran into another problem!! okay i use windows movie maker for my amv's i just downloaded the avi codec but i still get this message

The file C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Desktop\Bleach 162.avi cannot be imported because the codec required to play the file is not installed on your computer. If you have already tried to download and install the codec, close and restart Windows Movie Maker, and then try to import the file again.

now im not sure who all can help me out but it used to work! now it doesnt and i cant finish my commercials without it!
