COD 5 Beta

Well if you had a chance to download it, what do you think?

I really don't care for it that much because its alot like the latest one.  The only dif is some of the features.

I downlloaded the multiplayer beta. It was okay, but it felt like I was playing Counter Strike, just under a different name. COD4 > COD5, for now. GUess I gotta see how the story plays.

I don't think you can say COD4 is better, since COD5's full version hasn't even come out yet

I hear it's going to be going back to the WWII. Apparently, if anyone's bothered to notice, COD4's modern warfare has more snipers, meaning flanking and grabbing that really powerful turret gun is gonna get you killed within one shot. While WWII had it easier...

It probably just felt uncomfortable for the players when they suddenly went straight to modern warfare. I mean, for all they knew, COD was WWII in game format, and then when it went to Modern Warfare, they either wanted to try something new or felt a little uncomfortable with the new style of fighting, the needed to master.

And Hideaki... I fail to see how WWII is like Counter-Strike, you did download COD5 Beta, not COD4 right? But I've just gotta say, that COD4 felt like a toned up Counterstrike, without the duck jumps, without needing to switch to the knife, being able to carry two rifles, and more grenades than one or two measly flashbangs and HE grenades. COD is more complex if anyone bothers to take notice, since you can sprint apparently...

The beta sucked, it had multiple issues.

The game itself, Call of Duty: World @ War is fun and entertaining.
The online play and MOD-ability make this game a winner. I was incredibly impressed by CoD4 and this game improved on a strong graphics engine.

Well Betas are betas, of course it'll have multiple issues, betas exist for the sole purpose of finding out what these issues are, and then fixing them for the main game
