Well if you want to judge that way. Some people don't care about the looks of others. They like what is in side the other person. With some people it could be different race, color, etc. Even a computer. If you watched this series you would understand why he fell in love with chi. Mainly because she was a brand of the legendary chobits. Which were computers that had human emotions. Meaning that they could be considered human.

On the other hand, I'm sad that this series is gone. They had great graphics and a great series. I only wish it came back.

Watch a couple of episodes at a friends house and got really into it, xD. I plan on buying the series again, it really gets your attention on what it's like falling in love with a robot girl, lol. But I gotta admit that the series is really perverted due to the the fact that a guy falls in love over a computer-generated robot that he found in a dumpster.

Oh I agree with you Deev, just the thought of that happening saddens me, but then again look at the world today. The gaming industry (ie. video games, not casino) is a $8 billion a year industry, making more than the movie industry these days. The average "hardcore gamer" plays more video games in a week than going to school or work...you would be amazed at how many hardcore gamers are out there. People spend more time on the internet than they do hanging out (as in around town, clubs, even in their own living room) with friends or family.

To me, the story line of Chobits doesnt seem like it is that far off from the truth . . . sadly.

There's a whole book on people and robots...

"People will be having sex with robots by 2050, an artificial intelligence expert has predicted."
..... "Mr Levy also believes that relationships with robots may not just be about sex - people may end up marrying them as well."

that's soo weird
Yea, that's absolutely so true. As technology gets more advanced.. we become more fascinated with it that eventually we're gonna spend more time on the internet than ever in the future. We neglect our real world because of internet obssession. I mean what else is there to do? You can pretty much find and do almost everything on the internet.

Now keep in mind I'm older than most...well everyone lol, in this community, but when I was a kid (and things you can NOT do on the net, I promise you) we played flag football, baseball, well any sport, Nintendo (original tyvm) Atari (meh, I still have mine!) were the 2 console games to play, but even so me and my friends were pretty much regulated on amount of time we were allowed to play. There were lots of things to do before computers came out.

I agree though as we get more technologically advanced, we become more enraptured by it, but that does not mean there are activities to do outside of the WWW.

but me...i'm pretty well-balanced..

i go to the park to play bball regularly...for example, just now i just got back playing bball on a 5 on 5 team but it started raining after the third game

so yh no choice but call it quits...so basically i get exercise, study, and chill in the forums/hang out with friends outside the net

too weird for me

I have to agree, from what I'm getting, a dude falls in love with a computer. Am I getting that right? Plus I kinda don't get the "Ear" thing with a lot of anime's, it either is or isn't.

Idealistic, I know, but that's the escape.
