Nah, Ichigo's was slightly conscious at the beginning of the chapter and clearly felt he needed to protect Orihime, that probably woke up the inner hollow. And his hollow seems to get a lot stronger every time he comes back from the dead...

Maybe this mask is a "second stage" hollowfication like Uli has. And hey, his inner hollow did warn him that he'd re-appear in a time of weakness. You can't be much weaker than with a hole in your chest and pretty much dead. xD

So, anyone think Aizen has this same power then ? I mean, he did say he reached a "new" level of power and Ichigo probably still has to fight him.

Also, I hate how this anime is going exactly like DBZ went...good guy is winning, bad guy goes badass, bad guy is winning, good guy finds secret/new power, good guy beats bad guy just barely. That, and the whole "levels of power" thing. Shinigami -> Shikai -> Bankai -> Hollowfication -> 2nd hollowfication (?) But I guess most if not all manga's of this kind will go that way. Just like how a lot of 80's western cartoons were all cliché good vs evil and a "message" in the end.

who and where did the 2 kids come from?
when are Urahara and the Vizards gonna make an appearance?  (:o

why are we doing the super hero show.... dammit. I thought BLEACH was above that.
