Man i cant beilve ikkaku lost considering how powerfull he is!! Also Hisagis Shikai in action was pretty awsome

Well I think that he must have been acting cocky and lost since he didn't want to use bankai maybe? Cuz his shikai is not the greatest.

he didn't wanna use his bankai because he wanted to keep it a secret, remember? Ayasegawa was a bit lucky that he was able to shikai safely, but Ikkaku, I don't think so.

this chap was great, great quote as well by Hisagi. Wow, his shikai has potential, I wanna see his bankai lol.

Surprised to see Ikakkuka lose but I'm almost positive he didn't use his bankai. Liked what Hisagi said about if you don't fear it you can't use it.

Don't count Ikkaku out just yet.  Remember he has a temperamental Bankai. In his first face off against one of these guys he had said he had to seriously shed some blood before he could release. And after it takes time for his to come to full power.

 Ikkaku will win... the down side is it will out him as having Bankai.

As for Hisagi's fight.. went about how I would have expected considering his personality. I think like Kira he has a dark streak in him he's not entirely comfortable with. I would have liked to see him better challenged. I think he made a point when he casually announced to his opponent he was "not even close" to the level of a captain.

maybe Po(the arrcana Ikkaku was fighting) is just wicked strong ad he will dystro the other three pillers and defeat the other three before Ikkaku goes Banki and owns him and then the story the Town's protection fades and the story continues with Captins vs Espada

I like how Hisagi's shikai was unpredictable and I especially liked his line about not liking his shikai because its shaped like something for killing, even more so than I liked his "fear your weapon" line.

I did think that Hisagi's opponent was kinda lame. His breaking the mask in parts to release power was cool, but as soon as he pulled out his lobster claws it was a bit hard to take him seriously. an arrancar with pincers just doesn't seem too threatening.

As for Ikkaku I'm not counting him out just yet. Though it wouldn't be the first fight he lost if you consider his fight with Ichigo. One a side note, he also has medicine in the hilt of his zanpakuto as we saw after that fight so maybe he'll be up and running though he looked pretty beat up

Ok, I'll play devil's advocate and say he is dead. I mean, a war with casualties on one side is just an ass beating, not a war. I think hes dead. Gone. Peace out. Not even big boobs(i dont feel like slaughtering her name) can bring her back.
