dang. we now know the truth about ayasegawa's zanpaktou. it is WEIRD. and hisagi is gonna have a hard time since that arrancar has a little bit of mask left to become captain level...kira is getting owned since making those feathers heavier isnt gonna help him...

Yea, but we still have NO idea of hisagi's abilities. Im not really worried about Kira or any of them. I do think its interesting agw gave his zanpaktou a nickname as another way to hide its true power.

yay colored pages in next chap to celebrate 7th anniversary!!!  ok, now for reactions. Wow ayasegawa has huge potential, he can easily be third seat, overthrowing Ikkaku even with his bankai imo. If ayasegawa has bankai, it would own even more. Seems like next chap will have split kira and hisagi battles. I wonder if Yachiru's silence of her zanpakutou's power is for the same reason ayasegawa, kidou shikai as well maybe. |

[EDIT] - so yea like every1 else is sayin this ep was sorta wak the only thing i liked really was the arrancar breakin his mask to show how his power works and plus its dope how he removing his mask even more i wonder up to wut lvl he can get to

I kinda liked this one. I can now see why Kubo gave Aya such an odd quirk when it comes to his zanpakutou release. Once he was able to "emotionally" use his shikai he made short work of the arrencar and it explains why Hisagi was no match. I dare say he is Lieutenant level considering how he has already been able to beat one. I think the fact that he is vain and shallow to a large degree is what is keeping his Bankai from manifesting to him. I think he's doing it on purpose. I mean seriously.. to rather "die" than allow Ikkaku or Zaraki to know about it?! Boy has issues. But that alone shows a great deal of power to be able to make it as far as he has without needing to openly use his shikai. I don't think he can hide it forever... but I doubt we will see that result. Can you imagine if he was forced to "drain" Zaraki?! He wouldn't.. obviously he'd rather die... but... it's theoretically possible. His Bankai would be phenomenal.
Next... did anyone else think Abirama's release was pretty darn sweet looking? Don't know how I feel about the "power" but it looks cool. Seriously, Kira's shikai doubles the weight of anything it hits... but this guys feathers are already heavy enough to crush anything they hit. Kira's not gonna want to hit any headed directly at him. And the only way I can see at the moment for his shikai to be effective is land a hit directly on this guy. His attacks (including a cero) would all be distance attacks. Looks to be shaping up to be a good match up there. One of the surprisingly better ones actually.

If you are talking about Aya... I gotta stand by my first observation. No way does he have Bankai. Ichigo couldn't attain it until he let go his childish ways. Same with Renji. I seriously doubt Bankai is going to manifest to someone with Aya's shallow mentality. Thing is a lot of people may see Aya's Shikai as weak or boring. But it's got the most potential to destroy as any I have ever seen. And thats just the initial release. Used right... it has the actual potential in it's initial release to beat a Bankai if you really think of what it does. Thats a little scary actually. |
