Episode 184 was good at explaining 3rd seat Kifune's background, motives, and power. I see one of two things happening in the next episode. Either Kira defends himself until Kifune's Bakkoutou consumes him, or Rukia will show up to rescue/backup Kira. I found it odd that Rukia wasn't with the three members of squad 3 when they showed up at the stadium, but now that I think about it further Ichigo asked her to protect Shuu (but did not specifically say anything about stopping Kifune or helping Kira).

On one hand I'd like to see Kira fend for himself and win the battle against Kifune, but on the other I'd like to see Rukia appear and quickly deal with Kifune.

I watched the scene where they split up again, and its still a little unclear what happened. Ichigo told Rukia to watch Shuu, Amagi told his three men to help Kira. Then Amagi said "Kuchiki, bring Kannogi-dono with you and follow us". Then Amagi and Ichigo flash stepped out of there leaving everyone else behind. As a result it looks like Rukia will not be helping Kira, and he's on his own (I don't expect the squad 3 members to be of much help to him).

much needed episode, i needed my Bleach fix after going cold for soooo long

could of cared less about his history, but i think its lame he thinks hes stronger than Kira simply because he has a demon-magic sword that literally gives him more power.

i hope this arc ends soon.

Only thing I want to see out of this filler series now is how the noble family doesn't involve themselves with Central 46. I was kind of right when talking about him possibly wanting a special Bakouta or w/e. He already had one though.

yea. he had been using it all along since he needs it to make his zanpaktou levitate and spin.

and we find out that the new bleach movie will be named - "Fade to Black: I Call Your Name"

so we know that its not "Goodbye Rukia" since that was a working title i suppose...

not much to say about this episode.

The episode was good.
This arc is better than the Bounto arc if you ask me.
And I already all caught  up with the manga, so I'm good with there being more episodes of the filler. So its like haveing another story to watch and whatnot.

filler shoulda ended a little bit ago i feel but hopefully it ends with his defeat and the death of the annoying old man.

i think kira is going to talk him down. kira is the kinda guy that will avoid a  fight if he can. its either gonna work and kifun will give up or its not gonna work and kifun will be consumed by the bakkotou. I'm pretty sure that the bakkoutou is the thing messing with teh spirit stuff that they talked about near the start
