Is it illegal to possess Bleach swords? are they considered illegal?
I'm not talking about coming out with in the street, just possessing it as a piece of collection. Does it need to be registered or something!?

I owned three swords and sevral daggers for display I did not even need ID to buy them
to bad I had to sell most of them
Still got my Bamboo sword
The sword is metal but the steath looks like bamboo really cheap cause it's not a real sword
dull as a round ball

well koustik i think they would care cuz ppl just dont go down the street carrying swords and have no intention of using them...and they're prolly afraid that u might come and get em or something... plus i think that its fine to have a swrod cuz its not as much of a threat as a gun since police with guns could take out a crazy guy with a sword in no time(UNLESS ITS KENSHIN HIMURA!!!  ) and i know some ppl with a zangetsu sword in shikai and bankai...and its sharp so it can be lethal...but i find it more cool that he has the bankai and shikai... |

Laws vary by state. I know in CA anything over 18 inches or larger is actually legal. Any "hidden" sword like Benihime as her cane form is illegal and can be confiscated if found. Although not as enforced. Shipping is a big no no for the cane/walking stick edged weapons as well as a heck of a lot of the hand thrown projectiles. I also had to get rid of my throwing stars.  Sucks living next to a cop sometimes. I believe daggers must be sold with a fury strap and the commissioned pieces I got could not be sold sharpened. I don't recall the finer details on all the laws. But I'm about 98% certain that swords the size of the Bleach replicas are ok for sale or shipping to CA. But you need to check the laws in your state. You can collect anything. I do... but I sometimes have to have it shipped via a third party to get it in the state.  |

How about shipping them? Anybody already shipped a sword to or from the US? I think that at least it should be registered or declared before shipping it. At the same time, there is plenty of swords for sale on eBay, so I presume that should be fine shipping them.

They're legal during an anime convention or a gaming convention, since that's when swords are most common.

Its legal as long as you state that your shipping a sword when you go to ship it. I shipped one over break, alot of form filling.  |

gin's zanpaktou is actually one of the nicer ones IMO. And yeah. There are several places online to get them. This place has the largest selection I've found. They even carry Momo's regularly. Bleach Swords |
