what do you guys think of the new 3rd squad captain he seems pretty tough but is he? id like to find out some more history and review episodes to see if i missed something he was in....probably not but he seems pretty mysteries

well i like him his thing kinda looks likea tuning fork and after he was done with the cleaner thingy it still kinda resonated after and he had to stop it .i wonder if it vibrates spirit particals and charges them then shoots them at whatever. and the spirit particals vibrate the ones in whatever he shoots them at breaking it to peices. but thats just a guess.

i think that amagai was made just for the filler eps since they pull him out of the place that no character has come from b4...

and yea i'm looking forward to seeing how his power works and what the heck that thing was since he has a sword but he used the other thing

I think you got it spot on... i haven't seen him in action at all, but i think i can deduce that his zanpakuto revolves around sound.

Now for a short science lesson-
 Sound is a wave, it needs things to vibrate on to travel, that is why there is no sound heard in space, since space is a vacuum empty of anything. The similarity between that fact and what you mentioned is exactly there.

What i think-
I think he vibrates the spirit particles that he's gathered through the air, like sound resonates throughout the air.

Amagai is very mysterious. i wonder what BOTH his zanpaktou do, it is pretty clear that one uses sound but what about the other? maybe something he can turn the sound from high to low some thing that changes the sound wave.
well the second zanpaktou either doesthe same thing or is an awesome combo with his sound zanpaktou, or something WWWAAAAYYYYY unexpected, we'll just have to wait and see

-anyway this Amagai is really shy weak when it comes to saki (wtf) how do they make a character weak to saki?  He is strong when it comes to fighting though or well i hope he is.  I am kinda curious when it comes to his bankai or any special attacks and what is his background?  How did he get picked and who are the others that picked him?

i think that the blade he used 2 eliminate the cleaner thing is a special artifact like the one youruichi gave to ichigo wen he saved rukia in serentai...wich was dope and the ep b4 wen he went 2 byakuya on the narrow bridge...old eps were good... thats just a guees tho i wunder wut they both do..
