well here's my new wallpaper! i always like to use ur wallpapers since i would just keep it the same thing otherwise...and u dont make em as often so i dont have to be switching it all the time  |

a vector is like taking a big picture, taking a small part of it, making it bigger, and then cleaning it up since it would look a boxy since it was zoomed in on so much.a render is cutting a character out w/o altering the size. the good ones cut the object out cleanly and smoothly

The 2 thing look alike but are completely different.
Render = rasterized image = pixelated image = psd (photoshop file), jpeg, png, digital photo, anything u steal from the internet
Vector = numerically built item = complex infinite algorithm that create the artwork in a 2d space = ai (Adobe illustrator), eps file types
PDF files are a finely tuned raster images.
