Irresistible Puppet Show of Terror – Bleach 193 Review

Bleach Episode 193 is online, and while it’s not the most action-packed episode, it has its good points. Bleach 193 takes a break from the Nnoitra-Nel showdown, focusing on Ishida and Renji as their Clone War gets going.

Bleach 193 saw Szayel Aporro splatter his trapped opponents with goop that creates a double of whoever it touches. Both Renji and Ishida dispatch their doppelgangers with ease, only to find that the splattered goo of the defeated doubles reforms into multiple new enemies. The doubles can be distinguished from the originals, thanks to the style makeover Szayel has given his copies. Pants are a weird look for Pesche, but you can’t expect taste from the guy with the purple lipstick, right?

Once Renji realizes that his doubles are copying his moves as well as his look, he busts out the Baboon King. The force of so many doubles releasing their own Bankai at the same time brings the roof of Szayel’s palace crashing down on everyone’s heads. Szayel is untouched, safe under his giant wings. The Espada is miffed about the damage to his real estate, though, and explodes his doubles with a snap of his fingers.

Szayel still doesn’t plan on taking them on himself, but uses another of his Zanpakutō’s abilities. Turns out that Fornicaras can create a voodoo doll of Szayel’s enemies. With Ishida and Renji literally in the palm of Szayel’s hand, they seem out of options. And there’s no Bleach 194 preview this week! Guess we’ll have to wait and watch Bleach online.
